Clinical Audit Tool (CAT)

CAT is a clinical information system that supports quality improvement in information management, assists to improve recorded patient data and enhances the business capability of general practice.

Doctors Control Panel (DCP)

Doctors control panel is an add-on application that works with patient management systems to alert GP's to preventive care items that need to be addressed.  This allows GP's to quickly see what items in a patients medical file need attention.

• Red items indicate, nothing has been recorded
• Orange items indicate, needs updating
• Green items indicate, up-to date

DCP can assist general practice's in meeting accreditation standards by prompting doctors and nurses to record required information such as Smoking, Allergies, Blood Pressure, Height and Weight.

Templates for Medical Software will be created for Central West Gippsland Division of General Practice programs.  Clinics can also request a template to be developed for their use.

Templates will be made available for all major medical software applications used with in this division
