This program is delivered on behalf of the National Prescribing Service (NPS).    The NPS provide independent, evidence-based information and support to health professionals and consumers on Quality Use of Medicines. They are independent of government and the pharmaceutical industry.   Educational visiting and case study group discussions with our NPS Facilitator, Dr Wayne Thompson, are will be available to practices in the near future.

These visits take between half to one hour, dependent upon discussion and questions between Wayne and the doctor/s.

The clinical audits, small group meetings and one-on-one visits form part of the Quality Prescribing Initiative (QPI), an incentive program of the PIP.   More information on meeting your practice's QPI requirements of the PIP available from

http://www.nps.org.au 'topics & resources' incentive tab or download brochure QPI
