Australian National Preventative Health Agency
Australian National Preventative Health Agency (ANPHA) is a new agency that was established on 1 January 2011. ANPHA’s job is to be the catalyst for strategic partnerships, including the provision of technical advice and assistance to all levels of government and in all sectors, to promote health and reduce health risk and inequalities.

The Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) is a listing of Medicare services subsidised by the Australian Government. The schedule is part of the wider MBS which is managed by the Department of Health and Ageing (DoHA) and is administered by Medicare Australia. Currently, the schedule is 777 pages long and outlines all Medicare Item numbers for GPs, specialists and other health practitioners.
The MBS fee summary aims to provide RACGP members with a quick and easy reference to item numbers and billing costs relevant to general practice.
Updated MBS Flipchart
The Victorian Department of Health has produced an updated version of the MBS resource entitled ‘Summary of new Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) item numbers: general practice and allied health’ about items related to chronic disease and mental health care for primary healthcare agencies. This resource is also known as the MBS flipchart. The updated flipchart includes new relevant items, changes to existing items and revised rebate amounts current as at December 2011. This useful resource presents summarised information on the applicability of relevant MBS item numbers to clients/patients and associated business rules in an easy-to–use format.

Gippsland Black Pages
The Gippsland Black Pages has been developed by the Central West Gippsland Division of General Practice to document Aboriginal specific services across Central West Gippsland. It offers health providers a reference point to enable appropriate referrals for Aboriginal people to assist in providing targeted culturally sensitive care.

New Burns Clinical Practice Guidelines
Victorian State wide Burns Clinical Practice Guidelines developed by the Victorian Adult Burns Service (VABS) at The Alfred, in conjunction with the Royal Children’s Hospital Burns Unit are now available.
